This six-issue mini-series is a whirlwind comedic tour through the mind of a man who is learning to cope with middle-age. Bobby Boomer (a not-so-subtle play on the term, Baby Boomer) is an average man with an average house, wife, and child. This is the way it is and this is the way he likes it.

Boomer’s life is turned up-side down when his niece comes to live with them. She is a teenager, which in practical terms means that she might as well be an invader from another planet. Bobby doesn’t know how to relate to her. He doesn’t like the way she dresses, and talks. He especially doesn’t like her choice of boyfriends.

This series is filled with the sort of humor that only comes from real life. All in all, Invaders From Home is a must-read for humor fans.
