Reform School Girl

Reform School Girl is one of those titles more notorious for its name and cover picture of a provocative photograph of a young model than the book’s actual content. The story is pedestrian and resembles an EC romance at first glance, even sporting the same typeface.

The story concerns the exploits of Faith Butler who is led astray by the seamier side of life and is eventually thrown in jail. One of the highlights of Dr. Wertham’s Seduction of the Innocent, that alone almost justifies its notoriety.
