Straight Arrow

By day, ranch hand Steve Adams helps out around the farms and grazing lands of the old West. But when problems require solutions outside the reach of the law, he dons the Indian garb of Straight Arrow to take on the rustlers, robbers, and outlaws that plague the frontier. Trusted by the Indians and feared by the white men, Straight Arrow often strayed beyond the boundaries of the Western genre to explore ancient civilizations, tangle with prehistoric creatures, and tackle the issue of drugs—powerful stuff in the 1950s.

Straight Arrow was drawn by Fred Meagher, with covers occasionally supplied by future fantasy art superstar Frank Frazetta. Readers could count on three or four full-length Straight Arrow stories each issue.
