Kalgan the Golden

The UK’s Harrier Comics made a go of adapting “classic” science fiction tales for the comics page. This one, from a short story by British sci-fi writer E.C. Tubb, tells of the immortal Kalgan, who offers a young star traveler the chance for eternal life—all he has to do is slay Kalgan himself. Those who dig B-movies and science fiction from the 1950s will appreciate the quirky charm of this story, drawn by Ron Turner (2000 A.D.).
