X-Treme X-Men: Savage Land

X-Treme X-Men certainly doesn’t break any new ground, but for longtime X-fans, it must be a blessing to see the team back in the hands of old X-writer Chris Claremont. Those turned off by the constantly (ahem) mutating X-storylines might want to pass on it however.

The 4-part “Savage Land” mini-series delves into the jungle that is Rogue’s mental state, the Beast’s new feral edge, a group of Dinosaur people, the return of a Savage land Mutate (Brainchild) and another battle for ownership of the Savage Land. A pretty standard day in the X-career really.
