Collecting Action Comics #812-819, this trade paperback features some of the best work of the Austin/Reis creative team. The lone survivor of a future holocaust for which he blames Superman, Gog has returned to the present to keep his promise to kill the Man of Steel. While Gog tries desperately to fulfill his promise, the super powerful Preus, Weapons Master and the evil husband/wife team of Sodom & Gomorrah jump in to add to the pile-on. Full of giant set pieces, city blocks turned to rubble and some random kidney damage, these stories strive mightily to live up to the name “Action.”
