Hawkeye: Earth’s Mightiest Marksman

Tom DeFalco wrote this story as a three-issue mini-series, but it was instead published in this oversized one-shot. Hawkeye is a longtime member of the Avengers, and has one of the more chaotic histories of Marvel characters. In this story, Hawkeye is lured into a trap by the Taskmaster, who intends to copy the powers of Firestar and Justice through an experimental process created by the Albino. The Albino recruits Batroc and Oddball to attack Hawkeye, compelling the three Avengers to investigate why.
