King Arthur and the Knights of Justice

    (Marvel, 1993-1994)
™ and ©1993 Marvel Characters, Inc.

Warriors comprised of living rock under the command of Lady Morgana stormed Camelot but were thwarted by Merlin’s powerful magic. However the effort so depleted Merlin that he was unable to prevent the abduction of Guinevere by Lord Blackwing. Merlin is the kingdom’s sole defense since King Arthur and his knights have been imprisoned in a cave of glass. The situation calls for desperate measures. Peering into the future, Merlin discovers a group of young men to shoulder the defense of Camelot. They are a football team named the Knights and their star quarterback is one Arthur King. When Merlin drafts them to come to the aid of Camelot, they will need the full measure of teamwork and determination they displayed on the gridiron.

The legend of King Arthur and the Knights of Camelot, the inspiration for many comic series, (The Demon and Camelot 3000 to name two), receives a drastically different take in this adaptation of an animated television series.
