As of April 2005, Seattle–based artist Craig McKenney has published two diverse anthologies of short (mostly under eight pages) illustrated stories under this letterhead. Among the fictional segments are an adaptation from “A Movable Feast” by Ernest Hemingway, an unsettling look at minor league baseball in the Great Depression, and the life lessons a boy can learn from a bum, an android, and some sort of turtle–man. Other stories are autobiographical pieces, including one artist’s encounter with an incognito celebrity in an airport and another’s self–confessed obsession with “sissy boys.” Also included are interviews with such comics–world notables as Seth (the mononymous artist behind “It’s A Good Life If You Don't Weaken” and Mark Newport, who specializes in creating art through crocheting.
