This three-issue limited series offers an interesting spin on the sentient-alien-battle-suit motif. An alien battle suit crashes to Earth—one of five such suits that are unleashed upon an unsuspecting universe with a mysterious and sinister mission. Whoever wears the suits will be gifted with amazing super-powers, but the hosts’ bodies will soon be used up by the suits’ systems. Here’s the wrinkle: the suit that crashed to Earth has developed a conscience, bonded with a human being, and prepared to fend off the alien invasion it heralds. Meanwhile, a self-serving scientist has his own ideas about the suit and its uses. Intriguing stuff!
