Volume two of Space Usagi continues where volume one left off—but this time, in color. For those who haven’t been following his previous adventures, Usagi is a rabbit samurai, living in a world where many animals evolved to take on the roles that humans have in ours. In the series Usagi Yojimbo, Usagi fought in the service of his master, Lord Hideaki, to save his homeland from all manner of domestic troubles. One more than one occasion, his exploits led him to cross swords with the famed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Space Usagi takes this bunny to the stars where he lives out an epic reminiscent of the first Star Wars movie, but this time with even more funny animals. Here, Usagi’s clan has been overtaken by a sneak attack launched by the Kajitori Empire. Usagi must band together with the remaining survivors to regain the White Star Castle and reclaim his clan’s lost treasures.
