Marvel: The Lost Generation

In the years between W.W.II and the introduction of such heroes as the Fantastic Four and The Avengers, an entire generation of Earth’s super-human population was brutally slaughtered by a Skrull invasion force. Propelled continuously backwards through Time, scientist Cassandra Locke must bear witness to this terrible tragedy. As she sees the events unfold in reverse, Cassandra seems helpless to save these forgotten heroes. But armed with the knowledge of her own future era, as well as the information gleaned on her strange journey, she may actually hold the key to averting these terrible events at their very outset. But can she change History, when she’s already lived through it? Even if Cassandra decides it’s possible, powerful beings like the sorcerous Dr. Strange and the cosmic Watcher might not give her the chance.

This twelve-issue series runs in reverse, beginning with #12 and finishing with #1.
