Evangeline (Vol. 2)

    (First, 1987-1989)
™ and ©1987 First Comics, Inc.

By the twenty-third century, the human race had advanced in the area of technology and has colonized countless planets. Still, they had yet to overcome religious bigotry. Aided by her friend, Cardinal Szn, Evangeline and her friend Jonny Six, a professional thief, team to fight the church’s enemies.

Evangeline is a battle-hardened nun with a special place in her heart for the bow and arrow. Posing as a countess, she hides her identity from those who can hurt her. Smart, sexy, (though celibate), resourceful, and strong, she’s one nun that you’d be wise not to mess with.

This title had been published by Comico and Lodestone Publishing before coming to First Comics. Evangeline was created by Chuck Dixon (Batman, Punisher: War Zone) and Judith Hunt.
