Relative Heroes

When Deborah and Oren Weinberg unexpectedly die in a car crash, their kids, along with the baby-sitter Damara, pack up the Winnebago and head for Metropolis. Why? To get Superman’s advice on becoming super-heroes, of course. After all, kids plus powers, minus parents, pretty much equals super-team roadtrip, right? Well, that’s what older brother Joel thinks, and as the only one without any powers, he’s desperate to hold the family together after their recent tragedy.

Naturally, being orphaned is only the beginning of the kids’ problems. They find out the hard way that “cousin” Cameron, a recent addition to the family, is on the run from the Department of Extra-normal Operations. And they’ve barely made their escape from the D.E.O.’s super-powered strikeforce before being attacked by Damara’s “fiancée,” the angry and bitter God Eryx!

Whoever said that being a kid was easy, huh?
