One of the major criticisms of the modern comic book industry has been the lack of girl-friendly comics on the stands. With Go Girl!, writer Trina Robbins (The Legend of Wonder Woman) and artist Anne Timmons aim to set things aright.

In the 1970s, Lindsay Goldman’s mother was the mini-skirted super-heroine Go-Go Girl, who flew about, righting wrongs all over Boston, and who gave up the crime-fighting business when it got in the way of being a single mom. Flash-forward to now: Lindsay’s friend Hasseena Ross is kidnapped by one of her lawyer father’s enemies, so Lindsay dons her mother’s old fighting togs and takes flight as Go Girl. Will her mother approve? Find out in this excellent, old-fashioned super-hero title that is not only girl-friendly, but guy-friendly, too!
