Hellspock

The fact that Parody Comics published this title should be a dead giveaway to its content. Not enough clues? Here are some other titles under the imprint: Jurassic Lark, Spidery-Mon, X-Farce and Star Blecch.

The first part of Hellspock parodies the seemingly endless “Star Trek” franchise, knocking not only the melodrama aboard the starship Enterprise, but the actors’ efforts in the comic book world as well. Trekkers may want to look away, no matter how tough their skins. The second half of the comic parodies the success of the successful Stormwatch series, knocking the title’s hyperkinetic art and love of spandex-clad beauties.
