Wonder Woman: The Blue Amazon
(DC, 2003)
™ and © DC Comics, Inc.
This Prestige Format one-shot is companion to Superman: Metropolis and Batman: Nosferatu, completing the “German Cinema Trilogy” from writers Randy and Jean-Marc Lofficier and artist Ted McKeever.
Drawing its inspiration from Josef Von Sternberg’s “The Blue Angel” and Fritz Lang’s “Dr. Mabuse: The Gambler,” The Blue Amazon tells the tale of Diana, an Amazon who came down from Heaven to reunite the Amazons with the men of Metropolis. Unfortunately, her mind was clouded and her mission was lost, and Heaven fell into a state of disarray. But through the efforts of the Super-Man who rules Metropolis and Nosferatu the Bat-Man, Diana regains her memories and fights with her benefactors to take down Doktor Psykho and the Cheetah. But is it too late to save Heaven?
