The Bad Eggs

This series follows the anachronistic adventures of raptor brothers Claude and Ript, as told by writer Bob Layton and artist Don Perlin.

Claude, the bespectacled intellectual dinosaur, worries about future extinction and abstains from raptor reproductive activity which generally involves disembowelment. Ript, the only raptor who regularly wears a backwards baseball cap, is regularly disemboweled. If only the female raptors didn’t have to play so rough!

The boys avoid T-Rexs, argue about the size of Brontosaurus “equipment,” and try to find creatures to eat that don’t wallow in their own waste. If they have to feed some psychedelic Wingo Weed to a few predators to escape death, it’s all in a day’s work. As Claude says, “Sex, drugs, and dookie-wallowing…the harbingers of a decaying culture.” Can extinction be far behind?
