Arianne

    (Slave Labor, 1991)
™ and ©1991, 1996 Rafael Nieves and Noel Tuazon

Tony is a shy, reclusive, self-conscious high school boy who, like many adolescents, yearns for a chance at love, or if not love, at least sex. Arianne is a former drop-out who returns to school. She dresses like a fourteen-year-old but is actually twenty-two and is everything that Tony is not. After an initial study session Tony is in love, but his idealized vision of Arianne is far from her real persona. Tony subsequently abandons Pete, his only friend, as Arianne becomes the center of his life.

This is a tale of love gone astray, lost innocence and the tragic consequences for one lonely boy.
