When a mysterious fog envelops Kidmund Krebbs, he ends up at a strange bookstore where he is given an old book. Upon returning home, Kidmund uses the book to summon the wise-cracking, beer-swilling demon known as Scratch. Comedic adventures ensue in this comic which originally made its debut as a comic strip before making the leap to comic book form in Cerebus # 59 and 60. Creator Charles Treadwell includes his eight-page Cerebus story as well as several other stories and early strips in this black and white comic.
