The eccentric district of Ikebukuro finds itself at the mercy of a mysterious and vicious slasher who attacks people in the dead of night. As the serial street attacks intensify in both ferocity and regularity the hard-knock cheer of the locals is dampened by the bitter taste of dread. And online in a certain Internet chat room, a new handle appears - Saika - posting odd ramblings with savage intensity. Is this person really just some anonymous troll riding a wave of fear, or do the erratic rants come from the fingers of a slashing madman?
