In Britain, Superman appears in a slightly different size and format than his American counterpart. The Adventures of Superman is published in a larger magazine with the equivalent of two issues in one book. It also arrives every two weeks. Handy profiles of the issue’s villain, similar the profiles which appeared in Who’s Who In the DC Universe, round out this handsome publication.

The downside of this scenario is that these are reprints of stories that appeared years earlier in the United States. The Adventures of Superman is also an umbrella title, featuring stories that have appeared in Superman, Adventures of Superman (U.S.), or Action Comics.
