Robot Frank’s Life

    (Cornerstone, 2001)
™ and ©2001 Todd Webb & Bryan Madden

Hilariously twisted humor propels this parody of “blogs,” online diaries that saturate the Internet. The narrator is Robot Frank, a misanthropic, angst-ridden machine that was part of an assembly line of robots created by scientists who wanted to rule the world but then ran out of funds to complete the project. Robot Frank reveals his everyday existence in an introspective and often humorous fashion, proudly discussing his misadventures such as threatening to beat up a child who interfered with his video game and opening the doors of dryers in a Laundromat to frustrate the customers.
