Superboy/Risk Double-Shot

™ and © DC Comics

These series of “Double-Shot” books are team-up titles, similar to the DC “Plus” books, but in a 22-page story format. They spotlight the youth heroes of the DC Universe, characters that are destined to be the future of the Justice League or the Teen Titans.

This issue focuses on Cody Driscoll; Risk, a former Teen Titan whose team was disbanded; and Kon-El, known to the world as Superboy, a teenage clone of Superman who first appeared after the Man of Steel’s death at the hands of Doomsday.

Superboy goes undercover at a high school to uncover the whereabouts of Risk who was guilty of breaking into a NORAD facility. It doesn’t take the super cool Superboy long to discover jokes are funnier when they aren’t played on you, and after his clash with Risk, that there is a difference between doing what is right, and what is fair.
