This title features a beautiful bar owner named Tila, who in true “Raiders of the Lost Ark” style is about to become unemployed by circumstance; an emotionless, apparently invulnerable killing machine sheriff, with cyborg qualities and a lot of mystery in his background; a gang of thieves anxious to make a name and a quick score for themselves; and Tila’s bar itself, the Eden, where all the characters meet up.

Nothing about the manga-influenced art or robotic sheriff necessarily says “western,” but that’s the idea and the setting here, a mishmash of past conventions and future technology. The title is also unique for its “landscape” or “widescreen” format, which works perfectly for the tale.
