Bruce Stinson is known throughout his world as Chapel. He has spent his life as a mercenary, fighting and killing without question. That path led him to join the special forces team Knightstrike, then to become a founding member of Youngblood, a government-sponsored group of super-heroes. He would also obey orders to kill his best friend (Al Simmons—Spawn) before being betrayed by the same people who gave the order. Chapel then plunged into madness and eventually committed suicide while seeking spiritual power.

This two-issue mini-series is set in the time before all that—back in 1983—when he led a squad into Nicaragua to stop a madman named Black. It’s a story full of big guns, explosions, and bloodshed. In short, it’s Chapel having the time of his life.
