This title introduces War Party and Dreadwolf…in full color! War Party is an ultraviolent, ultracool mercenary-for-hire who, in his debut story, takes down the bad guys and disrupts the performance of an opera. By the way, you know he’s ultracool because he ties a strip of red cloth around his head as he jumps into action. Dreadwolf is a werewolf-with-a-heart-of-gold feature; he’s savage, but only when pursued by the bad guys. This anthology title introduces the “Lightning Universe,” an attempt by Lightning Comics to publish a group of connected titles.
