Rex is a thief who slipped onto a tony cruise with the goal of stealing loads of cash. He didn’t expect to become a savior, the only one capable of turning back a sudden attack by the Technogenus, a race of sentient machines that chose this particular outing to announce their existence to a shocked world.

The young thief turns out to be Machina Rex, brimming with latent powers that allow him to control any machine of any kind at any time. Not that he actually realizes this. But he’d better wise up soon, because there are suddenly a whole lot of people, and things, with a profound interest in this skill.

Robot monkeys. Kung Fu cops. Really big mech. While not always easy to follow, the series certainly does move.
