Morning Glory
(Radio Comix, 1998-1999)
™ and ©1887 Loran Gayton and Michael Vega
Morning Glory tells the fanciful story of Katherine, a modern-day pagan witch, and her mischievous companion Morning Glory, one of the last faeries left alive. These unlikely partners must face down Goth-girls, naughty cable TV channels, first dates and religious fanatics, not to mention lesbian biker gangs and Zen masters. Add to that the complication that Morning Glory derives sustenance from sexual energy and Katherine is between boyfriends, and much comedy ensues. The manga influenced artwork tells the story in a fun, straightforward manner.
This is pure romantic comedy and adventure, for mature readers.
