Jason Marcy is a happily married 32–year–old man. No really, he is. He can’t help it if temptation surrounds him everywhere he goes. And of course his own psychological need to be loved by everyone doesn’t help matters. The flirting and risqué conversation is perfectly harmless and even healthy. However, all the drama entwined in his fantasies is about to be placed in its proper perspective: his long–suffering wife believes she may be pregnant. Jason Marcy’s day job is a caterer/pasta maker, but his real passion is comics. This trade paperback is the third volume of his autobiographic musings and deals primarily with the birth of his first child and the impact this event has on his formerly ego–centric lifestyle. Jays’ Days has much in common with another slice–of–life title, Harvey Pekar’s American Splendor.
