It’s not everyday that an accidental chemical spillage by the class ditz can trigger a transformation in the class lecturer, leaving him a giant bloodthirsty creature who revenges himself on evil. Ah, but then all is not what it seems with ancient forces also at work. A lovely Dan Brereton cover on the first issue indicates that Mike Miller’s self-published project is better than many of its ilk. The story is absorbing enough that the artistic deficiencies of someone still learning can be overlooked, and so can the well-traveled road of the plot.
