A battle rages in Hell as a dead renegade of the super-team Youngblood overthrows Satan and plots dominion of the entire universe. Only the mysterious Order of the Knight (with the aid of the New Men, Prophet, and the rest of the Image Universe of heroes) stands in the way of absolute annihilation. Such is the over-the-top premise of this kick-off to Image’s 1995 crossover event, with plot and primary art by, appropriately enough, Image founder Rob Liefeld (X-Force). The Extreme Sacrifice storyline continued in most of the Image titles, including Supreme, Bloodstrike and Brigade, before concluding in the “Epilogue” issue of this series.
