Mezz isn’t a super-hero team. Mezz isn’t a secret government agency or alien army. Mezz doesn’t go around saving other people’s lives. Mezz is a rock ‘n’ roll group. It’s reputedly Nexus’ favorite band—in fact, its the most popular rock group in the galaxy.

The band consists of Mezzrow the lead singer, Tony on saxophone, Jaxon on drums, and Mary on keyboard. This mini-series chronicles their adventures as they embark on their grand galactic tour of 2494. Mezz and their manager, Vooper (who bears a striking resemblance to Ross Perot), are in constant conflict over everything involving the tour. Mezz wants artistic expression, Vooper wants advertisements for beer. This one-shot special is a rollicking adventure in the wacky world of alien, futuristic rock ‘n’ roll.
