Do-Do Man

    (Edge, 1997)
™ and ©1996 Andrew Wooding

From out of the pages of the Britain’s Do-Do Man Limited Edition comes Do-Do Man and his ginger cat, Amy. After drinking his “cure for insanity,” our hooded hero walks the streets of London as “the living line between genius and madness.” Of course, his unique view on life does make things a little sticky for the rest of humanity. His bank manager is committed to a mental institution, and the local phone company is in ruins after he comes to barter the payment on his phone bill with back issues of Dark Chicken comics. Our hero continues to uncover shady dealings wherever he roams, with his do-doism philosophy to guide him and Amy to get him out of trouble.

This British black-and-white combines the wit of comic cat Garfield with the standard English humor of Monty Python’s Flying Circus.
