The Groo Chronicles

Before its lengthy run at Marvel Comics from 1985-1995, Sergio Aragones’ Groo the Wanderer appeared in eight issues of his own title at Pacific Comics from 1982-1984. Due to financial problems, Pacific folded, but Groo proved to be one of the floundering companies high points. As a result, these eight issues as well as a special published by the similarly floundering Eclipse, were reprinted and repackaged as The Groo Chronicles and published by Marvel. This gave readers who may have missed out the first time a chance to complete their collections.
