As any fan that followed the much-ballyhooed death of Superman can tell you, Doomsday is the name of the creature intrinsically linked to Superman who was designed to adapt to anything it met, to be ultimately unbeatable.

While other series traced the characters origins and ultimate demise (of course there’s a way!), this annual tracks Doomsday’s path across the universe before he came to Earth. Eons ago he landed on Apokolips, Khundia, Oa and Calaton, so comic historians will notice Darkseid, Tomar Re and the Guardians of the Universe among Doomsday’s victims.
