Ray Bradbury Comics: Trilogy of Terror
(Topps, 1994)
™ and © Topps Comics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Topps Company, Inc.
Here is the third and final volume from Topps Comics featuring classic stories by science-fiction/fantasy master Ray Bradbury (preceded by Ray Bradbury Comics and The Martian Chronicles).
“Skeleton” is an intriguing tale of horror—an allegory about man’s personal relationship with the unknown which is usually characterized by needless fear that often leads to obsession and ultimately…death.
“Uncle Einar” is a charming fantasy about a vampire whose wings are “clipped” when he gets into an accident and loses his ability to fly at night. Fearing to be seen in daylight, Einar grounds himself, marries and settles down. But married bliss does not remove the misery in his heart. Yet…love might find a way. Mr. Bradbury’s message is a don’t-worry-be-happy one reminding us to smile and always make the best of any situation.
“Home To Stay” is a reprint of an EC science-fiction classic featuring art by Wally Wood.
