The Demon (1st Series)

Demonologist Jason Blood had been studying the occult for years. One day, he adventured into an old castle and discovered a dusty tomb. Upon reading the inscription on it, he unleashed Etrigan, a demon that had been lurking dormant inside him for centuries.

Etrigan had been summoned to this plane by Merlin the magician, to help him fight Morgaine le Fay back in the days of Camelot. Afterward, the demon had been suppressed in the form of Jason Blood, who wandered through life ignorant of his true nature.

Today Etrigan and Jason exist in a strange symbiosis, able to shift between identities at will. As the Demon, he possesses great strength, which he uses to fight a variety of human and supernatural foes. In this first series, he has not yet taken up the practice of always speaking in rhyme, an annoying habit at best.
