Enchanted

On one level, this series is a simple story of a young woman’s attempt to make a successful musical career for herself, and the elements—including her diverse group of friends, the demanding owner of the bar she plays at, and her nervous steps toward a relationship with the nice yet complex guy her friends introduce her to—that make up her life. But there’s more going on here than just that. For one thing, it’s also about her letting go of her fears, and being the musician, and person, she is capable of becoming. And for another, the new man in her life has a few disturbing secrets, involving mystical conjuring with mysterious associates, death (murder?), and inhuman creatures coming after him from another dimension.

Written and drawn by Robert Chang, this unusual and multi-faceted series is published in black-and-white by Sirius Entertainment.
