District X

Being a cop is a tough job. In District X, a region of New York City populated primarily by mutants, it’s nearly impossible. After all, it’s hard enough to “serve and protect” when you don’t have to worry about those you’re protecting controlling your mind or otherwise using their disturbing super-powers against you. Small wonder that District X has the highest crime rate in the country, or that the federal government sees the need to send in a special detective to assist the police force. It’s a detective who will be readily familiar to X-Men fans: the man known as Bishop.

Part realistic buddy cop drama and part mutant adventure, this Marvel Knights series by David Hine and David Yardin puts a foot into both worlds with style and intensity.
