Cheyenne Kid

Charlton’s Wild Frontier #7 introduced the Cheyenne Kid and changed its title accordingly with issue #8 in July of 1957.
An orphan raised among the Cheyenne Indians, the Kid eventually became a scout and sometimes a guide for hire based at the Sour Springs fort under the command of Colonel Mackenzie. Trusted (most of the time) by both the Army and the local tribes, Cheyenne worked to keep the peace while battling unscrupulous exploiters and violent renegades. During his 16-year run, the Cheyenne Kid averted numerous wars and uprisings by his firm belief that everyone could get along and that there were good and bad men on both sides of most conflicts.
