Excerpts from various Trident Comics titles are featured in this promotional giveaway. Spotlighting work from U.K. all-stars such as Grant Morrison and Eddie Campbell, Trident Sampler leaps from one genre to another, from the fantasy of “The Saga of the Man Elf,” starring characters created by renowned novelist Michael Moorcock, to the teen-angst diaries of Morrison in “St. Swithin’s Day.” The samples are too short to get a real feel for any of the stories but then again, they’re meant to be sneak previews after all.
