Caliber Comics’ flagship title was a showcase series, highlighting various stories from various authors.

The reoccurring “Ghost Sonata” storyline from Gary Reed (Baker Street) and Andy Bennett (St. Germaine) followed Isaac’s dark journey of despair and solitude. Although his psychic powers allow him to sense the thoughts and feelings of others, they are uncontrollable and ultimately unrewarding. Like The Crow, Ghost Sonata” almost drips emotional pain as loss and grief rock Isaac’s life.

The second half of High Caliber rotated between “Amongst the Stars” for the first two issues, “Stain” in the third issue and the X-Files-esque “Raven Chronicles” for the fourth.
