Violator vs. Badrock

This four-issue mini-series pits Spawn’s worst enemy, Violator, a demon spawned by Hell, against Badrock, the Youngblood member and behemoth made of rock.

The tale begins when the government sponsors a group of scientists to capture and study the Violator. They know of his existence because of an earlier battle between him and Spawn. Badrock is brought in by the scientists since he is already on the government payroll. After capturing Violator in a well-planned trap, the scientists believe that their work is finished. They ask Badrock to stick around, however, “just in case.”

The scientists’ request turns out to be a wise move because the Violator breaks free, kills most of the project personnel, and tries to escape. Badrock really hates to lose and the two duke it out in an epic battle. Will this be the end of the Violator? Uh…probably not.
