G.I. Joe European Missions reprints the Action Force comic from the United Kingdom. In the U.S., Action Force is more commonly known as the “G.I. Joes” (featured in the American series G.I. Joe, a Real American Hero).

The Action Force is a group of elite strike teams located in London, New York, and various other cities around the world. Each member has a codename and a particular specialty. For instance, Sci-fi is an ace marksman who uses his laser rifle to bulls-eye targets from two miles off; Roadblock is a huge, 50-caliber machine gun-toting powerhouse. The Action Force’s mission is to safeguard world peace—and to stop the terrorist Cobra Commander and his minions, the Crimson Guard.

The Transformers, that other great toy line-turned-comic were featured in backup stories throughout this series.
