John P. Marquand’s amazing oriental detective returns in this three-part miniseries by Rafael Nieves and Tim Hamilton.

Young Ken Ta Kashi is released from a Japanese/American detention camp at the end of World War Two. Approached by a man who claims to have known his father, Ken is given the opportunity to travel to Chicago and find the person responsible for his father’s death. Along the way, a chance meeting with a young Mr. Moto leads Ken through a series of events and encounters that might answer the nagging questions that have brought his life to a standstill.

Nieves and Hamilton show us a vivid slice of American history that many may have forgotten today.
