A selection of choice reprints from the Gold Key Flintstones title issued in this gigantic 68-page format that appeared in 1962. Four years later, Gold Key produced the second issue, featuring the exact same stories! I guess they figured that no one was the wiser and by 1966, The Flintstones series was losing popularity, as it was the year of the program’s cancellation on television. However, it was just the beginning as The Flintstones began a new life in almost endless syndication and a number of spin-off and sequel series, before ultimately ending up in season packages on DVD.
