This title recounts the real-life story of Sylvie Rancourt, a stripper in the clubs of Montreal. It tells how she came to enter that other world, her experiences with management and patrons, and what goes on behind the scenes. More than that, it is the story of a woman who seems trapped in her own life, with weird parents, strange relatives, and a boyfriend who is a far cry from the proverbial knight in shining armor.
