Eminem: In My Skin

    (Omnibus, 2004)
™ and © 2004 Omnibus

Eminem’s music made him a star, and the movie based on his life only increased his fame. This graphic novel, drawn—and at times imagined—from biographical elements of his life expands his pop culture influence even more. Many scenes and events here will be familiar to fans, as they cover ground touched on elsewhere. His relationship with his mother, his rise to fame, and the controversial themes in his music are all explored. In most cases they illuminate a man whose fame was born from a particularly troubled existence.

This oversized one–shot is a collaborative effort by Barnaby Legg, who has covered Eminem and other artists in other graphic novels and other formats, and Jim McCarthy.
