It’s “gun nut” versus “antigun nut” in a Las Vegas showdown. Cole Cash (Grifter) tried to walk out of a casino after a losing streak put him well “in the hole.” To avoid being put into a hole in the ground, he agreed to take on a job for the casino owner: to infiltrate the local gun show and steal a weapon called “the probability annihilator.”

Meanwhile, an antigun protester was having a problem with his luggage. After his bag was lost, he was accidentally given a similar suitcase containing an assortment of odds and ends—including the mystical green mask that turns its wearer into a human cartoon capable of acting out on innermost impulses. This meant mayhem at the gun show, a place full of would-be anarchists, gun-crazed gangsters, and two odd super-heroes destined to clash with each other.
